Weapons of Mass Creation
Calling all women committed to disrupting traditional
(BAME) female narratives in theatre!

W.M.C. aims to support women artists of all kinds to develop their voices, and create bold and exciting new theatrical work.
Women At RADA Reading
28th February 7pm
When Mira walks out of an abusive marriage, her outreach worker recommends that she attend a weekly boxing class full of women with similar experiences. They seem to be focused on helping her recover her confidence, and get to the bottom of what really happened in her marriage. However, as she gets stronger and digs deeper into the women’s stories, she uncovers an unsettling truth that makes her question her own actions. Bootcamp asks what happens when you can no longer see the line between victim and perpetrator. It is a play about the process of healing and the lies we tell ourselves in order to survive.

Home is Where…
A full length version of Home is Where… debuted at RichMix on September 2nd 2016 after a devising process supported by Kings Place Foundation and RichMix. After audience feedback we are entering a new R&D process and will be presenting a revamped version in 2017.
The accompanying workshop My Culture, Our Culture for schools and community groups tackles the themes of the play and is now available for booking. Contact Amy Clare Tasker Performance Lab.
