Guleraana Mir holds an MA in Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities from New York University.
As a freelancer working in applied-theatre she delivers a range of workshops in community settings using theatre, storytelling and movement to explore diversity, inspire creativity, and to build communication skills. She also leads drama based PSHE workshops in schools exploring topics such as sexual health, career skills, healthy relationships and drugs education.
Guleraana has been supported as a playwright by Tamasha, Theatre Delicatessen, New Diorama and Park Theatre. Her first full-length play Shooting Star was long listed by the BBC as part of SCRIPTROOM 8. Her latest, Coconut was co-produced by Ovalhouse and The Thelmas. It ran at Ovalhouse from 11-28th April 2018, followed by a national tour. It received two Off-West End Awards including most promising playwright.
